| OOOooo! done this one too!
Our bin cycle is household - weekly and recycles - fortnightly.
Well - as I compost and buy as much as I can without packaging, there is not a lot of rubbish anyway. So my bin cycle is half as frequent: household - fortnightly and recycles - every four weeks.
After six months of this, I had a letter from the DOE about health and hygene, disease, rats, life cycle of flies etc, and why household rubbish is collected weekly. they were complaining about not emptying my bin each week..
So now I leave it outside every week, put my rubbish in my neighbours bin and put hers out for her. Bin men are totally screwed now, coz both bins are out side all the time and always empty..
won't be long before some teenagers decide to swipe them. anything with wheels on.... _________________ Fair's fair, share the scare. You can find ghosts anywhere!A soul is a precious thing.
